You can’t help thinking of Frederick without reflecting on one of the most prominent and influential citizens that ever lived here, Governor Thomas Johnson. On this episode of the Steeples and Peoples All Things Frederick County Maryland we speak with Amanda Veneable and Kari Saavedra, the current and former curators of Rose Hill Manor Park & Museums were the first Governor of Maryland lived. We discuss with them the rich history of this historic property and how it has been preserved throughout time for generations to enjoy. We discuss the various events held on the property along with how others can rent the facilities for personal use. They tell us of how the return of field trips and other groups to the property have been a welcome sight and share with us some of the things that will also be returning after a 2 year hiatus. So make time to enjoy the rich treasures that are offered at this historic landmark.
